Working in the hospitality industry for the past 16 years, primarily in finance, Bharti decided to put away her spreadsheets and go it alone in the big wide world of being an entrepreneur. Going into lockdown #1 in March 2020 she didn’t know what she was going to do next. By April she had decided that she wanted to work on a business plan for her own Café Wine Bar, by the end of May she had launched a website with an eShop selling tea, coffee and wine online and delivering it out to bring some joy to everyone during the rest of that lockdown. By Sep 2020 her first physical site was opened in the local shopping centre, a second site in May 2021 at Liverpool Street and third site in March 2022 at her local tube station and the fourth BloomsYard opposite Warren St station in July 2022. Bharti is ambitious and determined and expects that BloomsYard will carrying on expanding in the future and hopes it will be that ‘escape from the hustle and bustle’ that we all look for.
