08 Sep 2021

Further details revealed for Atlantic Club 'Live' in London this month

Peter Martin
Atlantic Club is back on tour in just two weeks time. Come and join like-minded operators for 24 hours in London on September 21 & 22.

We'll be meeting fellow leaders, entrepreneurs and innovators ‘face-to-face’ out in the market - like KERB Food’s CEO Simon Mitchell - as we get under the skin of the city as it rediscovers its old vibrancy.

Simon will host a visit of its Seven Dials operation in Covent Garden and share his thoughts on social purpose, working with corporates and how the next wave of new food entrepreneurs are shaping up.

Places are very limited to 30, so be quick. Email me on peter.martin@peach2020.com to reserve your tour place now.

London is a pivotal food and drink destination on both the local and global stage. Our big themes for our two-day tour will be:

·     The new London economy and consumer
·     International - who’s heading here, who’s heading out, and why.
·     People - how is the capital coping?

Here's some highlights - all with a growth, and most with an international, agenda:

Paul Barham, co-founder of both Flight Club Darts and Electric Shuffle, will be ‘on site’ to talk about international plans and the opportunities for ‘experience’ brands; while one of the UK’s biggest players, The Restaurant Group plc, will host the first night’s reception at its revamped HQ in Southwark and talk about how it’s developing both its own brands and others’ concepts in its concessions business.

Wingstop Restaurants Inc. Vice President EMEA, Lisa Paton will explain why it thinks the time is right to come to the UK.
Also visit GDK (German Doner Kebab), a UK brand new to London and already making it big in the US.

And there’ll be a walking trip around Bermondsey, the part of south London that many are calling the new Shoreditch and which is fostering many new independent businesses.

As well as seeing operations first-hand, talking to owners and gaining valuable market knowledge from expert advisors – including our partners at Harrison.Harri & CGA - data, consultancy, research & insights - the big benefit from our trips is the relationships and contacts that operators forge from meeting and spending time with their peers.

We start at 4.30 pm at TRG's re-modelled offices in Southwark, and finish late afternoon on Wednesday September 22 at Flight Club Bloomsbury.
