Where music meets hospitality: Join the Atlantic Club Nashville Tour this May

Hospitality leaders can get up close to one of the most dynamic food, drink and entertainment scenes in the US on an exclusive Atlantic Club tour to Nashville in Tennessee in May.

The CGA by NIQ team will be providing expert insights on the VIP trip, which will introduce operators to Nashville’s powerful fusion of music, bars and restaurants. Joining the trip provides access to the city’s most innovative and ambitious restaurant and bar founders, chefs and CEOs, with escorted visits to sample a wide variety of venues including brunch joints, barbecue spots, food halls, rooftop bars, competitive socialising concepts, breweries and many more.

CGA’s suite of research solutions delivers unrivalled analysis of the hospitality scene in Nashville and across the US. The BeverageTrak solution reveals:

  • The Margarita is the highest earning cocktail in Tennessee, followed by the Espresso Martini—sales of which have grown significantly in recent months

  • Craft is the state’s top performing beer category, followed by domestic premium and domestic super premium

  • Whiskey, vodka and tequila are Nashville’s three top spirits categories, with total spirits sales up 8% year-on-year—while cordials (up 46%) and tequila (up 12%) have seen even faster growth.

CGA’s Consumer Impact Report meanwhile uncovers people’s habits and priorities in Nashville, providing the data-driven insights that suppliers and operators need to increase sales and share. They highlight the city’s importance as a tourist destination, with 51% of those who plan to visit doing so for a vacation. More than a third intend to visit for the live music (36%) or nightlife (36%).

Two in five (41%) visitors ordered beer in Nashville’s restaurants—and 83% of them have bought a pitcher and / or bucket of beer in the last six months. More than a quarter of consumers have ordered whiskey (29%), soft drinks (29%) and tequila (27%) in bars and restaurants.
