Atlantic Club: Birmingham Tour Itinerary

We’ll be introducing senior operators and entrepreneurs from the UK and US to the next phase of regional growth, Birmingham. With a young and diverse population, strong business and leisure demand, and continuing city-centre regeneration, it has become a proving ground for ambitious operators and growth-focused brands.

Together we'll take on a high-energy, founder-led tour of Birmingham’s fast-evolving hospitality scene - from Michelin-starred restaurants, landmark openings and major operators to cult bars, local independents and the creative neighbourhood of Stirchley. The city combines culinary credibility with commercial momentum. New openings sit alongside established institutions, creating a hospitality scene that is both innovative and deeply rooted in local culture.

Evening one | 23 September | Colmore Row

We'll kick things off at 6.30pm with welcome drinks at Madeleine's Bar in The Grand, with general manager Johan Scheepers, before we head out to explore Birmingham's thriving hospitality scene.

At 7.30pm we'll visit 24 Stories, the Evolv Collection's rooftop restaurant and bar, for a pre-dinner drink and to take in views across the city.

From there, at 8.30pm we'll head to Blacklock for dinner, hosted by Maria McCann.

We'll round off the evening at 9.30pm for a nightcap at cult cocktail destination Passing Fancies, meeting creator Matt Arnold.

Day two | 24 September | Paradise & Stirchley

We'll start the day at 8.30am with breakfast at Dishoom, where we'll be joined by CEO Brian Trollip.

At 9.45am, we'll head to Albert Schloss for a presentation and panel discussion, ‘Birmingham Unpacked’ on the operating reality and data underpinning the city’s latest developments, with:

From there, at 11.00am, we'll take a walking and tasting tour of Paradise and Colmore Row, including;

At 2.30pm, we'll board the bus for Stirchley to visit:

We'll wrap up the tour at Indian Brewery at 5.30pm for farewell beers, hosted by co-founders Jaswal and Jay Purewal.
